The Best Consoles - PlayStation 4
The PlayStation 4 is the latest video game console developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. Released on November 15, 2013, the PS4 is the successor to Sony’s previous console, the PlayStation 3.
From my personal experience, this gaming console is one of the best ever made. However, having owned a PlayStation for the majority of my life, my view might be a bit biased. None the less, this console comes in either black or glacier white with either 500GB storage or 1TB storage. The worst thing about the PlayStation 4 is that in order to play online on the PlayStation Network, you must purchase a PlayStation Plus account. However, this is an optional purchase as you can still play the console offline without it. The prices are either $10 a month, $70 for 3 months or the best value one, $120 for a year.
Sony have also been innovating their PS4 with the release of the PS4 Slim and the PS4 Pro to accompany the original PS4.
The PlayStation Slim is 40% smaller than the original PS4 and has a rounded body with a matte finish on top of the console.
On the other hand, the PlayStation 4 Pro is an updated version of the original PS4 with an improved hardware to enable 4K rendering. Depending on where you purchase your PlayStation 4, prices will be different. Right now from JB Hi Fi, Australia’s largest home entertainment retailer, you can pick up a PlayStation 4 1TB Bundler for $479. This bundle is excellent value as it comes with 2 games, Horizon Zero Dawn and Mafia III.
Therefore, if you are looking to buy a console for yourself or for someone else, I highly recommend the PlayStation 4.
